This listing is for an Indigo Gem Haskap/Honeyberry plant. It is potted and averages 10" to 12" in height.
**IMPORTANT INFO: Indigo gem honeyberries are now entering the dormant stage. They’re at the stage where they lost remaining leaves, or only have a few remaining. You will receive it in its pot with soil.
ALSO: Haskaps require cross-pollination with another compatible haskap variety to produce fruit. An ideal pollinator for Indigo Gem is either Aurora or Honey Bee. Even though Tundra flowers at the same time, they're too closely related for successful cross-pollination.
Indigo Gem Haskap (Lonicera caerulea ‘Indigo Gem’) is a cold‑hardy, highly productive fruiting shrub. Often compared to a blend of blueberry and raspberry, the fruit ripens early in the season and is excellent for fresh eating, baking, preserves, and freezing. Indigo Gem is known for its abundant yields and good pollination compatibility with other haskap varieties, making it a reliable choice for home fruit growers.
This compact, upright shrub typically reaches 4–5 feet tall and wide, forming a dense and manageable plant ideal for berry rows, edible hedges, or mixed plantings. It thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 2–7.
IMPORTANT: Haskaps require cross-pollination with another compatible haskap variety to produce fruit.
