This listing is for an Jules Nanking White Cherry plant. It is potted and averages 12" to 16” in height.
The Jules Nanking White Cherry is a cold-hardy bush cherry that produces pale, translucent fruit with a sweet, mild flavor and lower acidity than traditional red Nanking cherries. Selected as one of Michael McConkey's white-fruited Nanking cherry varieties, Jules is valued for its larger fruit size and dependable production. In spring, the shrub is covered with attractive white blossoms before setting fruit that ripens in early to mid-summer. It typically grows 4 to 8 feet tall and wide.
Jules grows best in full sun and well-drained soil and is known for its adaptability, cold hardiness, and low-maintenance growth habit. The fruit is well suited for fresh eating, jams, jellies, syrups, and baking.
Plant near another Nanking cherry variety such as Gabe or Ian for cross-pollination.
USDA Hardiness Zones: 3-7
